How to Find High Paying Keywords For Your Articles

Keywords are what search engines use to deliver search results to its surfers. Keywords are also what advertisers pay for in order to list products on Google adsense, so it only make sense to search for prices for keywords or cost per click (CPC) to try to put together a strategy to make money on your articles

  1. Step 1

    Start by browsing to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal this should take you to Google's adwords tool. This tool is used by advertisers to determine trends regarding search volume and average cost per click. The great thing about it is you can use it help you find topics on which to write on in addition to suggestions to high paying keywords that you can include in your article.

    In the picture to your left there is a field where you can enter a keyword or phrase. A keyword is a word that describes the topic or niche that you are going to write about where as a keyword phrase is a phrase that is related to the keyword and example would be the word "domain name" a keyword phrase can be "web hosting" or "website".

    Once you've put in your keyword or keyword phrase click on "Get keyword ideas" , this should populate keywords related to terms entered.

    In the lower bottom corner you there is a drop down box that allows you to include a column for the estimated CPC. Highlight that item and the screen should refresh with the CPC dollar amounts per each keyword.

    Once the results come back you can click on the blue links to auto sort from highest to lowest or vice versa, as you can see from this screen shot domain names are hot when it comes to CPC. Sprinkle them sparingly in your article and make sure that the keywords are relevant to your article title. Then sit back and let Google do the rest. I can promise you that all articles written this way make some kind of money.
